Happy 2012! Brightworks is back in session and ready to take on the new year.We've dubbed this our "Nesting Week," where we focus on taking back the space from the mess, having community meetings about what it means to be at school in a place like Brightworks, and making rules and standards for Kid City. The kids are grappling with deciding on what it means to have personal space and public space, how they treat one another and the school, and exactly what being a member of the Brightworks community means.The kids have already made great starts in the conversations - and have tried the head cheese and salami from the pig butchering in December. What a good day back.
