researching, resetting
Today the Flying Fish started Pigeon Watch, a citizen science project through the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, which has recruited people around the country to help collect data in response to the question: How does coloration affect pigeons' choice of mates? After a short conversation about the importance of a good research question and how good questions come from observation, the Fish set out with clipboards to draw and identify different color morphs. They fed the pigeons corn tortillas and collected data for most of the morning. The Ninja Cats continued to work on their spy performance piece and have been developing the storyline, the characters, and the physical set and theater. The Undead Goats have spent the last week resetting their space, all with the thought of turning tree-rigging and space-resetting for a bike organization system and a way to clear room for new projects. They're turning their Farm into the Forest. All tied up.
