We want to take this opportunity and wish everyone a HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!

Whether you’re an ally or part of the LGBTQ+ community, always remember - you are loved, you are welcomed and you are seen <3

While PRIDE month is a time to honor, embrace and amplify LGBTQ+ voices and identities, as an institution we continue to anchor and commit towards dismantling systems of oppression and hate. The LGBTQ+ community remains in constant and maintained threat, where silence and deflection are tools utilized to invizibilize the culprit. To this end we loudly proclaim our commitment to speak out and against these white supremist gender normative ideologies and constructed expectations. 

In recognition of our obligation and diligence towards leading with love and acceptance we are hosting a Pride Month Celebration Day Friday on June 9, 2023. This day-long festivity will encompass education, poetry, art and a special dance workshop highlighting two dance forms birthed in the LGBTQ+ BIPOC community: Waacking and Voguing.

We are extremely excited for our special guest dance instructors! All this said, we look forward to continuing our celebration and acceptance of ALL identities, genders and personal expressions.
