7th Annual Brightworks Maker Marketplace
YOU are invited to join us on May 16, from 5-7pm for the 7th annual Brightworks Maker Marketplace.
Local makers, artists and crafters, including students, sell their handmade goods. Plus you can expect snacks, drinks and activities. Buy local and help support the next generation of makers.
The Maker Marketplace is a yearly event where members of our community, big and small, sell their creations to members of the community. In years past, wildly enthusiastic crowds of fans have bought everything from hot sauces and poems, to paintings and crystal necklaces.
We hope you can join this highly anticipated, fun celebratory event. Here are the details:
WHO: Sellers include students, collaborators & community members. Attendees are friends, family, neighbors, and community members.
WHAT: Maker MarketPlace is part craft fair, part maker experience, part fundraiser, part celebration. Come and see our community in action!
WHERE: At Brightworks! 682 Schofield Rd, on the Presidio. If our parking lot is full, please park just down the hill at the old stables, on the east side of the road.
WHEN: Thursday, May 16, from 5pm - 7pm
Proceeds will be donated to the financial aid fund at Brightworks, an extraordinary school in the Presidio, whose primary objective is to reimagine school as a joyful, inclusive, and antiracist learning community where students expand their curiosity and co-author their education through meaningful engagement.
