New Tuition Assistance Tool!
Each year, our admissions office works to support current families, welcome prospective applicants and prepare for the following year. One important step in ensuring Brightworks maintains a socioeconomically diverse community is to provide Tuition Assistance to families with demonstrated need.
If you are a current Brightworks family, and you’ll be applying for Tuition Assistance for the 2025/26 school year, now is the time to apply.
We’ve listened to your feedback about Brightworks’ previous Tuition Assistance tool and process. We are excited to announce that Clarity is the new platform we are using for tuition assistance applications. It is designed to be user-friendly, making the application process smoother and faster for families. Clarity helps ensure that tuition assistance is distributed equitably based on demonstrated need.
You will find that Clarity offers a streamlined and user-friendly Tuition Assistance application process that can take as few as twenty minutes to complete. It is mobile-friendly, so you can complete your application on your phone or tablet! Furthermore, your 1040 and W2 documents from 2023 will be automatically transferred from the IRS when you complete the verification step, so you will no longer need to upload those documents manually. We welcome you to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
To ensure a smooth process and catch any issues early, please submit your application as soon as possible. We are asking that your application is submitted on or before November 1, 2024.
Our goal is to distribute our tuition assistance budget equitably based on family need. Equity and community are integral to our core values and socioeconomic diversity is important to meeting that goal.

NOTES ON APPLYING
You will need to provide: estimates of your household income for 2024 (wages, interest/returns, etc), estimates of your monthly household expenses (food, housing, bills, etc), any other financial documents that might be relevant to your family’s situation.
When estimating in the section, “what your family can afford,” keep in mind that Brightworks Tuition Assistance is exclusively based on demonstrated need and Brightworks is limited in its ability to grant aid.
