Today was the last day of our much-needed Nesting Week. The kids worked on last-minute painting details and improving their spaces before the beginning of the next arc - with great success.The Ssalson Raptors created some germ-y performances... a play called the B-U-T-T Show (though the details of this play-acting game weren't revealed to me).Sketching the scenes together.Brightworks has a new member of the community: a five-week-old guinea pig!She has yet to be named, but we're collecting suggestions and will decide together on Monday.Kid City homes have become much more homey and colorful this week.Construction work.Hot lunch from Kristie - the favorites, orange and fennel salad and chicken dumpling soup - followed by a park break.After the final Nesting Week community meeting......the day ended in celebration, with a Kid City dance party!Welcome back, Kid City.
