Call for Makers, Artists & Crafters

The annual, much-beloved community event Maker Marketplace is happening on Thursday, February 29, 2024! 

More details to come after the winter break.

For now, we invite students to start thinking about, and even working on, products to sell. Examples of products created for past events: jewelry, stickers, knitting, coasters, soap, spice rub, hot sauce, glitter calm-down jars, poetry collections, and more! 

Young gems students (Garnet, Aquamarine, Lapis) often participate with support from their parents or families - last year the youngest BWX students sold items ranging from hand-dyed socks to ornaments from recycled materials to homemade marshmallows and a fresh popcorn stand.
