Fall Events

Join Brightworks families for a camping trip!

We’ll return yet again to River Bend Resort in Forestville (~1.5 hr drive). This lovely space has river access, play areas for kids, general store, pub for meals, and different lodging options. We typically do a big potluck and s’mores at the lodge on Saturday night.

A mix of sites (including traditional tent sites, tent cabins, and VW buses) will be held for us for the next two weeks and you can book directly here.   • 9/19. Back To School Night. Adults only! This is an opportunity for you to meet the other parents in your band(s) and learn about your student’s school day from their collaborator. 

  • 10/14. Indigenous People’s Day. No School

  • 10/17. Fall BI&PoC Family Dinner, 5pm

  • 11/7.  Fall Family Gathering, 5pm.

  • Gamify Your Nature Knowledge. In an effort to find ways for local Latinos to feel a sense of belonging outdoors, Nature Lotería was born. Learn about Bay Area biodiversity with a free downloadable Nature Lotería set! Learn More Here

  • World Arts West 2024 Dance Festival is a three-weekend festival that showcases culture, wisdom, and beauty through global dance and music, with a theme this year of “Dance as Activism.” The festival culminates with a day of performances at the Presidio Tunnel Tops on Sunday, September 8. The goal is to celebrate diverse communities through the art of dance at its 45th Annual dance festival.

    • Bring your own picnic (or pick up fixings at Presidio Pop Up or Il Parco), a blanket, family and friends, and join us for a FREE afternoon of performances at Presidio Tunnel Tops. The Grand Master of Ceremonies Ron Muriera will lead us through three hours of dance and music from the Philippines, Mexico, China, Zimbabwe, the Middle East, the Balkans, India, Congo, and the United States.
