At Brightworks, we're passionate about reimagining education. For over 14 years, we've been fostering a vibrant community where curiosity leads the way, and learning is an exciting adventure. Our diverse leadership team is dedicated to co-creating an environment where students are empowered to explore, create, and discover as they co-author their learning experience.

What Makes Brightworks Special?

Brightworks core values and approach to learning are what sets our school apart. Since our inception, we’ve asked the question “How do we create a learning environment where students feel inspired to co-author their education through meaningful engagement and have fun doing it?”

Here are some of the ways we put that into action:

● Academic Excellence: We value curiosity and meaningful engagement. Through project-based learning, students learn to question, iterate and problem-solve together and independently. Academics and hands-on projects are frequently woven so that learners can ignite passions while developing knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary for the 21st century.

● Child-Led Exploration: We value trust. We believe that when children take charge of their learning, they become more engaged and motivated. We recognize that play is the work of childhood and agency is essential at every age and stage of learning.

● Community Focus: We value equity and justice. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and anti-racist community. Our educators are committed to social emotional growth practices that develop empathic relationships, self awareness and restorative justice so that every child feels seen, valued and celebrated as themselves.
