Home Sweet Home

Our new building is officially our home. After a jam-packed summer of boxing up our school, moving, and preparing our new space, we could not have imagined the giddiness and excitement that arrived along with all of our students and families on the first day of school on Tuesday.

It is amazing to finally open these doors to our students and families. On the first day, we got to know each other in a community circle, in bands, and at lunch, melted a little in the heat, and soaked up the good feelings of togetherness.

Throughout the week, bands have been meeting up to get to know each other, explore the Presidio, and make this building their new home.

This year is all about rebuilding our community after a couple years of Covid- and building-related tumult, and we are absolutely thrilled to be starting this year off on such a positive and loving note!
