Parent Education

Brightworks is a school where everything is interesting, and that doesn’t stop at the children. Our Parent Education series is one of the ways we support you as you support your learners. We’ll be hosting workshops for parenting adults throughout the year. Here’s what’s coming.

How to Talk to Kids and Teens About Sex and Ethical Behavior

  • Thursday, November 5, 2026 · 4:30 to 6:00 pm · On campus

  • Open to Brightworks parents and guardians across all grade levels, K–12

  • Childcare available in AfterCare

We’re joined by Natasha Singh, a nationally recognized speaker and educator whose work centers on sexual ethics and on giving young people, parents and educators honest, age-appropriate language for bodies, relationships and boundaries. She brings a warm and grounded approach to conversations most of us were never taught how to have.

Ms. Singh will look at where contemporary culture, media and youth development intersect, and offer practical frameworks for these conversations at every age: laying the groundwork of bodily autonomy with young learners, and guiding adolescents through more complex social dynamics. The aim is lasting trust and healthy communication in your own family.

Please RSVP here for the November 5 workshop (check your inbox for the link).
