The intimacy of the space is centered around storytelling as a means of celebration and knowledge sharing. This event also serves as a fundraiser for the BWX Power & Privilege committee - a predominantly BIPoC led community, consisting of families, students, administrators, and collaborators. This committee has been tasked with holding the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative at BWX accountable to its words and commitment. For this inaugural evening, we are thrilled and honored to highlight the brilliance and artistic talent of author and artist, George McCalman.
